Why did I make this site?

Over the past 10 years, I have photographed mostly severe weather scenarios, such as funnel clouds and thunderstorms. After over a year of being a BBC Weather Watcher, with hundreds of photographs and videos of meteorological data stored on my laptop, I have decided to now share it with you.

Data is collected from my Davis Vantage Vue personal weather station in Clacton-On-Sea (ICLACTON5), where live observations are visible on the 'weather station live feed' page. My station is also registered with the Met Office Weather Observation Website and Weather Underground. Where its observations are also visible on their website, where by downloading the Wunderground or Storm app on your smart phone, you can save my weather station and receive accurate data which is collected every ~3 seconds.
